Terms of use and sale

Matter World is a free game published by MethodInfo at matter-world.com. These terms cover the website, accounts and future optional purchases. You may save or print them using your browser.

1. Publisher and contact

Your contracting party and publisher is MethodInfo. For questions, complaints or privacy requests, contact MethodInfo through its official website or the details below.

Sales are not open. Full company and consumer mediation details will be displayed before sales open.

2. Access and accounts

Browsing is unrestricted. Downloads through the website require Google or a personal Microsoft account (Hotmail, Outlook, Live). You must be authorised to use that account, protect access and provide accurate information. Each provider creates a separate account; accounts are not automatically merged. Minors must obtain their legal guardian’s permission for purchases.

3. Licence and intellectual property

The game is free and proprietary, not open source. MethodInfo grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the game and purchased items for leisure. Free access grants no rights to the source code. Commercial redistribution, resale of items and unauthorised copying are prohibited, subject to statutory exceptions and third-party component licences. You retain your rights to your original creations.

4. Game status and catalogue

The game is in development. Check the Windows requirements and published limitations before downloading. Planned items include AI printers in different sizes for creating objects from prompts, weapons (grenades, bombs), skins, prebuilt objects and world save slots. These features are not yet integrated into the game. Items marked “Coming soon” cannot be ordered and no release date is guaranteed. A future purchase covers only the features, compatibility and delivery timeframe expressly stated in its listing.

5. Prices and orders

The base game remains free. Purchases are optional and do not create automatic subscriptions. Available items are priced in euros, including taxes. Sign in, review the item and price, accept these terms, then confirm payment on Stripe. An order is confirmed only after payment validation. You can leave before paying. Your account records orders, their status, acquired items and invoices once issued. Returning from the payment page is not itself confirmation of payment.

6. Payment and delivery

Stripe processes payment; MethodInfo does not store card numbers. A failed or interrupted payment does not grant a paid item. Confirmed acquisitions are recorded in your account; game delivery and usage conditions must be stated before sale. No item currently marked “Coming soon” is charged. Keep your order reference when contacting support.

7. Withdrawal and refunds

You have fourteen days from conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving reasons, by sending a clear statement to MethodInfo. The website does not currently request a waiver of that right for immediate delivery of digital content. Refunds due are made to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed, within the statutory period. Rights associated with refunded or disputed orders may be suspended without affecting your statutory rights.

Model request: “To MethodInfo, I hereby withdraw from the contract for [item], ordered on [date], order [reference]. Name: […]. Address: […]. Date: […]. Signature only for a paper letter.”

8. Guarantees and support

You benefit from applicable statutory guarantees for digital content and services, including conformity and mandatory legal remedies. For a one-off supply, the legal conformity guarantee covers defects appearing within two years of supply; for continuous supply it applies during the contractual supply period. You may request conformity free of charge and, when the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination. These rights and necessary conformity updates are not excluded by the game’s experimental status.

9. Conduct, suspension and liability

Do not use the service to commit fraud, disrupt other players or infringe third-party rights. Abuse may lead to a reasoned, proportionate suspension, which you may challenge with MethodInfo. Maintenance may temporarily interrupt the website. MethodInfo remains liable as required by law; no term excludes a liability or right that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Data, changes and disputes

The privacy policy explains account and order processing. New terms apply to future uses and orders; the accepted version is recorded with each purchase. Address complaints first to MethodInfo. Following an unresolved written complaint, you may use the free consumer mediation service listed in the publisher’s details. French law applies without removing mandatory protections in your country of residence or jurisdiction rights provided by law.
